Description
Samadhi Floatation Tank Model: ClassicOriginal Purchase Price: Around $12,000Condition: Very GoodFeatures and Extras: Interior Light, Ozonator and Filter pump purification, digital temperature control, floater comfort control, centering system, 2-way intercom, speakers (bottom-mounted transducers) with amplifier/equalizer, hydrometer, drip tray, pump enclosure, specialized electrical surge protector. You will have to purchase a new liner for the tank, and epsom salt (it takes about 300.lbs to get the right salinity), although I have a few bags that I will also include. The liner and salt can be purchased through Samadhi tanks (I've included their web address further down)This is a float tank I bought in February of 2007, and it hasn't seen a lot of use. I'm selling it because I've decided to move and don't want to deal with the hassle of carting it around or paying for storage. Aside from a few scuffs here and there it is in great shape. I dismantled it in in May this year so it hasn't been exposed to freezing temperatures on my porch where it is currently stored. It would be perfect for a salon, since there are already a few in the midwest that sell "floats" to their clients, the technology of relaxation is a bit more widely known than it was a few years ago. When assembled the tank requires about 5 by 11 feet plus room for the pump, and is about 4.5 feet tall.As it is enclosed, it will not raise humidity in the room that it is installed in. An ideal spot is a warm, quiet indoor space with easy access to a shower stall. You can put it outdoors if it doesn't get too cold where you live.No plumbing hookup is required. You fill the tank initially with either a hose or buckets, and the system is self-contained. If you do need to empty it (If you - for instance - move and want to take the tank with you) there is an attachment that will allow a common garden hose to be connected at the the pump so water can be drained. The electrical requirement is standard U.S. - just plug it in to a wall outlet.Further information can be found at www.samadhitank.comThe people at Samdhi are VERY helpful and friendly and will bend over backwards to assist anyone interested in floating. You can call them with further queries at the number on their website.I do not have all the original shipping containers, and as shipping on this was several hundred dollars and I am simply too busy to be building shipping crates, you will have pick this item up yourself. If you can't pick it up, I will inquire for crating and shipping costs. I will insist that item be insured for full value.
